NO Racing License Required

Racers Must start with their class and at the assigned time. If a racer misses their class starting times, they will incur a time penalty or disqualification.
Final Class Results will be posted 5 minutes after the last racer finishes in each class.
Each racer’s time and current positioning will be available as soon as they finish.
We will award medals and prizes at our tents 15 minutes after the posted Final Class Results.
No Reruns unless the course is closed during your race run.

Each race registration includes a Saturday and Sunday Lift Pass.

USE WAIVER AND RELEASE OF LIABILITY, ASSUMPTION OF RISK AND INDEMNITY AGREEMENT Event Name: Eastern States Cup LLC Mountain Bike Race Series Event Date(s): 4/24/2026 – 10/31/26 IN CONSIDERATION of USENDURANCE allowing me to participate in the US Endurance event described above (the “Event”) I, for myself, and on behalf of my spouse, children, parents, guardians, heirs and next of kin, and any legal and personal representatives, executors, administrators, successors and assigns, hereby agree to and make the following contractual representations pursuant to this Waiver and Release of Liability, Assumption of Risk and Indemnity Agreement (the “Agreement”); 1. I hereby represent that (i) I am in good health and in proper physical condition to participate in the Event; and (ii) I am not under the influence of alcohol or any illicit or prescription drugs which would in any way impair my ability to safely participate in the Event. I agree that it is my sole responsibility to determine whether I am sufficiently fit and healthy enough to participate in the Event. 2. I understand and acknowledge the physical and mental rigors associated with this adventure racing Event, and realize that many elements of this Event are inherently dangerous and represent an extreme test of a person’s physical and mental limits. I understand that participation involves risks and dangers which include, without limitation, the potential for serious bodily injury, permanent disability, paralysis and death; loss or damage to property; exposure to extreme conditions and circumstances; contact or collision with other participants, spectators, vehicles or other natural or manmade objects; dangers arising from adverse weather conditions; imperfect course conditions; water, road and surface hazards; equipment failure; inadequate safety measures; participants of varying skill levels; situations beyond the immediate control of the Event Organizers; and other undefined, not readily foreseeable and presently unknown risks and dangers (“Risks”). I understand that these Risks may be caused in whole or in part by my own actions or inactions, the actions or inactions of others participating in the Event, or the negligence of the Released Parties defined below, and I hereby expressly assume all such Risks and responsibility for any damages, liabilities, losses or expenses which I incur as a result of my participation in the Event. 3. I agree to be familiar with and abide by the Rules and Regulations established for the Event, including but not limited to rules and regulations related to Competition and Safety. I also accept sole responsibility for my own conduct and actions while participating in the Event, and the condition and adequacy of my equipment. 4. I hereby Release, Waive and Covenant Not to Sue, and further agree to Indemnify, Defend and Hold Harmless the following parties: US Endurance, the Event Organizers and Promoters, Race Directors, Sponsors, Advertisers, Host Cities, Local Organizing Committees, Venues and Property Owners upon which the Event takes place, Law Enforcement Agencies and other Public Entities providing support for the Event, and each of their respective parent, subsidiary and affiliated companies, officers, directors, partners, shareholders, members, agents, employees and volunteers (Individually and Collectively, the “Released Parties” or “Event Organizers”), with respect to any liability, claim(s), demand(s), cause(s) of action, damage(s), loss or expense (including court costs and reasonable attorney’s fees) of any kind or nature (“Liability”) which may arise out of, result from, or relate to my participation in the Event, including claims for Liability caused in whole or in part by the negligence of the Released Parties. I further agree that if, despite this Agreement, I, or anyone on my behalf, makes a claim for Liability against any of the Released Parties, I will indemnify, defend and hold harmless each of the Released Parties from any such Liabilities which any may be incurred as the result of such claim. 5. I hereby pre-authorize the Event Organizers and their representatives to arrange for emergency medical treatment and/or transport via ambulance or air on my behalf if medical attention is warranted during my participation in the Event. I understand and agree that I will be responsible for the costs associated with any such emergency medical care and/or transport arranged on my behalf, and hereby release the Event Organizers from any Liability relating to the cost and provision of any rescue operations, first aid treatment, medical care, hospital expenses or the medical decisions made at the Event site or elsewhere on my behalf. I hereby warrant that I have read this Agreement carefully, understand its terms and conditions, acknowledge that I will be giving up substantial legal rights by signing it (including the rights of the minor, my spouse, children, parents, guardians, heirs and next of kin, and any legal and personal representatives, executors, administrators, successors and assigns), and intend for my signature to serve as confirmation of my complete and unconditional acceptance of the terms, conditions and provisions of this Agreement. This Agreement represents the complete understanding between the parties regarding these issues and no oral representations, statements or inducements have been made apart from this Agreement. If any provision of this Agreement is held to be unlawful, void, or for any reason unenforceable, then that provision shall be deemed severable from this Agreement and shall not affect the validity and enforceability of any remaining provisions. 2026 Summer Activities Waiver of Claims Arising From Inherent Risks, Indemnity and Arbitration Agreement -READ VERY CAREFULLY BEFORE SIGNING I, on behalf of myself, my heirs, legal representatives, successors and assigns, (hereinafter “RELEASOR”), in exchange for access to Powder Ridge and for the use of its facilities, use of its equipment and admission to alpine adventure sport activities, hereby release it, its affiliates, successors, subsidiaries, managers and employees, (hereinafter “RELEASEES”), from any and all injury, damage or death claims resulting from risks inherent in the activities in which I am about to engage. RELEASOR acknowledges that these inherent risks include, but are not limited to: climbing; slipping; falling; jumping; collisions with objects and other people; artificial and natural surfaces, including slippery surfaces; airborne activities; rough or uneven terrain, including trails, rocks and tree roots; failure of my own equipment; insects ; and, weather-related conditions. RELEASOR knows that summer alpine adventure activities are inherently hazardous, and that participants can seriously injure themselves as a result of these inherent risks. Therefore, RELEASOR freely assumes the risk for all injuries, damages or death caused by, or related to, risks inherent to the use of these facilities and also the activities in which I am about to engage. RELEASOR and RELEASEE hereby agree that any claim by any party to this agreement, except indemnification claims, arising out of my engaging in Adventure Park and Challenge Course activities shall be submitted to arbitration. Three arbitrators, including one neutral, shall be utilized. They shall decide: 1) the arbitrability of the claim(s); and 2) whether the injuries and damages claimed by RELEASOR arise out of risks inherent to Powder Ridge summer activities. I agree to abide by the arbitrators' decision, and refrain from pursuing damages claims by way of civil lawsuit, if it is determined by the arbitrators that my injuries or damages arose out of said inherent risks. Park activities shall include but not be limited to the inherent risks listed above. I further agree that every term and provision of this contract is intended to be severable. If any one or more of them is found to be unenforceable or invalid, that shall not affect the other terms and provisions, which shall remain binding and enforceable on RELEASOR. I represent that I am physically fit, possess adequate skill and that I am up to the challenge of the activity in which I am about to engage. . I agree to follow all rules and instructions from staff in order to reduce the risk of injury to myself or other guests. I take responsibility for the inspection and maintenance of my own equipment, and I have been given an opportunity to inspect the venue and agree, by virtue of my decision to participate, that the venue is reasonably safe. RELEASOR agrees to indemnify and hold harmless the RELEASEES for all defense costs, fees, settlements, judgments, including attorney fees, arising out of any claim or suit that is related to injuries caused by the inherent risks. Participant hereby grants to the Host/Releasees, its representatives, and employees the right to take photographs and video of Participants in connection with Participants’ participation in the activities. Participants hereby authorizes the Host to copyright, use, and publish the same in print and/or electronically. Participants hereby agrees that the Host may use such photographs and video of Participants for any lawful purpose, including but not limited to publicity, illustration, advertising, and Web content. I know that by signing this agreement, I am giving up legal rights, and freely choose to sign this agreement. I have been given adequate time to consider this agreement and to negotiate revisions. I HAVE READ AND UNDERSTOOD THIS ENTIRE DOCUMENT. I HAVE NOT BEEN FORCED TO SIGN THIS AGREEMENT UNDER DURESS OR TIME CONSTRAINTS. I HAVE BEEN GIVEN AN OPPORTUNITY TO SPEAK WITH A REPRESENTATIVE OF THE RELEASEES TO DISCUSS ANY QUESTIONS THAT I MIGHT HAVE. CONSENT AND RELEASE OF PARENT OR GUARDIAN I am the parent or guardian of the Children attached to this electronic waiver. My Children listed are fit for the event, and I consent to my Children's participation. I HAVE READ AND I UNDERSTAND THE ABOVE CONTRACT. In consideration for allowing my Children to participate, I consent to the contract and agree that ITS TERMS SHALL LIKEWISE BIND ME, MY CHILDREN, my heirs, legal representatives, and assignees. I HEREBY RELEASE AND SHALL DEFEND, INDEMNIFY AND HOLD HARMLESS THE RELEASEE FROM EVERY CLAIM AND ANY LIABILITY arising out of risks inherent in these activities. I, likewise, promise not to sue the entities referenced above either on my behalf or on behalf of my Children. I agree to the indemnity terms set forth above and agree to the arbitration terms set forth above

  • Refunds are available less a $20 handling fee until 14 days before the event.

All racers must sign a MAXXIS ESC and a venue waiver before practicing or registering at all events. Racers under 18 must have a parent sign their waiver or supply a notarized parental signed copy.

 

Once activated, it is imperative that Racers DO NOT allow their race timing chips to idle near the start or finish beacons; the chips will constantly read the times broadcast by the beacons. The timing chips have a capacity of 100 time stamps and will quickly run out of space. After reading 100 time stamps, the timing chip will no longer read any more times. As a result, no times will be recorded, and you will be declared a DNF.

Enduro Racers MUST hand in their timing chips within 15 minutes after finishing the last stage, or they will be penalized 1 minute. After 30 minutes, racers will be DQ’d from the event.

Racers MUST be present at the Series Final Award Ceremonies or at the Race Award Ceremony to Receive Awards and/or Cash Payouts!

CAMPING

Sites will be marked off in the upper tiers of Powder Ridge’s parking lot. Please purchase camping in advance as camping typically sells out at Powder Ridge.

We will be onsite Friday afternoon, but please understand we cannot do any registration on Friday. We have a lot of courses to set up, and we want to ride our bikes too!

CANNONDALE ENDURO INFORMATION

MAXXIS ESC Racing Age is the racers age on December 31, 2026
NO Racing License Required

The Maxxis ESC does allow reruns if the course closes during the racer’s race run.
The Maxxis ESC does allow reruns if the timers request a new run due to a malfunction.
The Maxxis ESC does not allow reruns if another racer impedes a racer

MAXXIS ESC Number Plates:
Racers must display their 2026 MAXXIS ESC number plate while practicing or racing on the course. Only racers with a valid and registered 2026 MAXXIS ESC number plate are permitted on the course. These number plates can be purchased at each race for $10 and are valid for the entire season. Any modifications to the plate will result in disqualification, and the lettering and logos must remain completely intact, with no cuts allowed.

WAIVERS
All racers must sign a MAXXIS ESC and a venue waiver before practicing or registering at all events. Racers under 18 must have a parent sign their waiver or supply a notarized parental signed copy. No other methods are allowed.

SHUTTLING
Shuttling will result in disqualification unless explicitly allowed in our racer’s letter or racer’s meeting.

YOUTH 14U CLASS

  • The 14U Class will do the same stages and in the same order as THE 12u Kids’ Class
  • The 14U Class will have guides at most events. Racers must stay with the guides during the Race
  • 12U and 14U racers may only compete in one discipline per weekend
  • Racers must be 14 or younger on December 31, 2026 to be eligible.
  • The 14U Class will compete on fewer race sections. Our Enduro Staff will conduct a course ride along on Saturday, times vary by venue so make sure to check. Meet at the Registration Tents. The above may be adjusted, so please check with us at Registration. No parents may ride with or run behind their children unless they are registered racers – NO EXCEPTIONS

KIDS’ 12U CLASS.

  • In the Enduro, racers in this class will compete in fewer race segments than other racers.
  • This is the for the FUN Class!!
  • 12U and 14U racers may only compete in one discipline per weekend
  • Racers must be 12 or younger on December 31, 2026 to be eligible.
  • The 12U Kids Class will compete on fewer race sections. Our Enduro Staff will conduct a course ride along on Saturday, times vary by venue so make sure to check.. Meet at the Registration Tents. The above may be adjusted, so please check with us at Registration. No parents may ride with or run behind their children unless they are registered racers – NO EXCEPTIONS

The racers in the 12U Kids’ Class can only participate in one discipline at Thule Showdowns.

Racers must be 12 or younger on December 31, 2026 to be eligible.

ENDURO LITE CLASS
This class will race for a reduced rate.  This class is intended for beginner and new enduro racers to experience the excitement of enduro racing. Participants will receive a total race time and a time for each segment but will not compete for Maxxis ESC Podiums, Prizes, or the Series Championship. This class is all about having fun! The Enduro Lite format provides enjoyable tracks for riders of all levels, focusing on women, kids, and first-timers. The emphasis is on learning and having a good time with like-minded mountain bikers rather than results or prizes. Parents of 12U and 14U can enter this class to practice and/or race with their children.

PLEASE NOTE: Enduro Lite Class racers must stay with the 12U /14U Class and race the segments in the same order. Enduro Lite Class Racers may only compete in enduro at our Thule Showdown Events.

MAXXIS ESC Stan’s Enduro Series Race Podium
The top 5 racers in each class will make the podium, with the first, second, and third place receiving custom Eastern States Cup Podium Medals. The fourth and fifth places will receive prizes from Dirt Care. Some venues may offer additional prizes as part of their enhanced prize packages.

MAXXIS ESC Stan’s Enduro Men’s Pro and Women’s Pro Race Payouts:
1st = $600
2nd = $300
3rd = $200
4th = $100
5th =   $50

ESC Cash, When the number of racers in the men’s amateur class exceeds 50 or in the women’s amateur class exceeds 20, the class will receive a cash prize in addition to regular product prizes. The cash will be awarded as follows:

  • $100  -1st
  • $50   – 2nd
  • $25    -3rd

No minimum number of races is needed to qualify for CANNONDALE Enduro Series Championship Standings

Any ties will be broken by placement in the series finals at Arrowhead

INFORMATION:

  • NO SHUTTLING– That goes for all weekend for everyone. If you are seen/reported/caught/whatever shuttling, you will be assessed a time penalty. Trust us, you will not be on the podium if you try, so don’t.
  • NUMBER PLATES– Will be sold at registration for $10 each. A 2024 MAXXIS ESC Number Plate must be affixed correctly to your bike always while on the tracks. You will not be allowed to ride without one. No cuts or trimming allowed on the plate, please.
  • CASH ONLY– NO, ATMs on site.
  • BUG SPRAY – You will want it, and please don’t ask for ours…lol
  • COLD – Temps expected in the 30’s overnights
  • RAIN – Don’t even go there !!
