Maxxis ESC Stan’s Enduro at Powder Ridge Information

Dear Racer,

We are thrilled to announce that we will be heading this weekend to one of our most enjoyable venues on the calendar. Racers have consistently expressed their delight and surprise at the exceptional trail quality, fantastic camping facilities, and lively onsite nightlife. There’s plenty to enjoy with a great outdoor restaurant and a fireside bar.

To kick off the 2023 season, the Powder Ridge Mountain Music Series presents the Lords of 52nd Street: Legends of Billy Joel Band on Friday, May 19th. “The Lords of 52nd Street” have sold over 150 million records and played a crucial role in establishing Billy Joel’s iconic sound. They continue to captivate audiences with their legendary hits. Expect a large crowd on Friday night. Tickets for the concert are available on their website.

Please note that the neutral pit area is located in the parking/camping lot at the base. No assistance is allowed elsewhere.

For spectators, all-day lift rides will be available for $5 at Powder Ridge, even if you don’t have a bike. Please remember that spectators must refrain from entering the courses at all times.

We will not provide printed maps for this event as the course is easy to follow. If you require a map, please print one in advance. You can find the 2023 MAXXIS ESC Enduro rules available on our website. We advise reading through the rules as there have been some changes.

Enduro Racers must be at the base area, where we will activate their chips and call them up to start their race.

When visiting Powder Ridge, we kindly request that you drive slowly through the neighborhood to avoid disturbing the neighbors. Additionally, we encourage you to support the local restaurants by letting them know you are in town for the enduro race.

Due to using one transfer and the potential crowding, the Eastern States Cup Seatpost Climbers Challenge will not be held this weekend.

We are excited to bring back the FLAT TIRE DEFENDER Super Stage this year. The fastest amateur male and female racers will receive a FLAT TIRE DEFENDER INSERT, while the fastest racers in each class will be awarded an FTD backpack containing an FTD discount card. This stage will be contested on STAGE 1.

The INTENSE BIKES PODIUM PAYBACK Program also returns this season, offering cash or certificates to racers who have competed with an Intense bike. To participate, please register with Intense on their website.

Another program we have is Kate’s Cash Rewards. If the men’s amateur class exceeds 50 racers or the women’s amateur class exceeds 20 racers, that class will be eligible for a cash prize in addition to the regular product prizes. The cash prizes will be awarded as follows:

1st place: $100

2nd place: $50

3rd place: $25

Our 2023 Maxxis ESC Jerseys, Socks, Pint Glasses, and T-Shirts are available for purchase at our registration tents. Please note that cash is the only accepted form of payment.

Regarding transfers, racers must follow the direction of the transfer. For this event, there is one common transfer for all five stages. Please be mindful of other racers on the transfer.

ONLY Motorex Ebike Class Racers may use E-bikes from 8am Saturday to the end of the event Sunday on the trails at Powder Ridge. Motorex Ebike Racers will be identified by their white ESC race plates
