MAXXIS ESC Thule Showdown Series

The Maxxis ESC Thule Showdown at Killington Bike Park is a major event for downhill and enduro mountain bike racers on the East Coast. Racers compete on challenging natural and man-made trails that wind through Killington’s three distinct mountain areas. The “Thule Showdown” weekend features both Enduro and Downhill races, with the largest prize purse on the MAXXIS Eastern States Cup schedule awarded to riders who conquer both disciplines. This multi-day event attracts racers of all skill levels, from beginners to experts, thanks to Killington’s diverse terrain that caters to every rider’s comfort level. It’s a true test of skill and endurance, set against the backdrop of Vermont’s stunning scenery.

Killington Bike Park features three high-speed lifts serving over 30 miles of trails. From beginner to expert and classic New England singletrack to Gravity Logic’s signature flow trails, Killington Bike Park has terrain suitable for everyone.

Three unique mountain areas make up our gravity-fueled bike park. Snowshed: Home of our beginner terrain with plenty of intermediate trails to keep you progressing once you get the hang of it; Ramshead: Home of our signature freeride trails with intermediate and advanced terrain; Killington Peak: Offering classic New England trails featuring plenty of rock and roots.

  • 45 miles of trails serviced by the K-1 Express Gondola
  • 1,700-foot vertical drop spread across five mountain areas
  • Trails range from classic cross-country singletrack to challenging big-bike downhill and freeriding trails
  • Natural and man-made features on select downhill trails
