MAXXIS ESC Enduro #4 at Powder Ridge Park, Middlefield CT Information

Registration is available onsite Saturday and Sunday Mornings

We are excited to heading a new venue and perhaps the most fun one we have ever visited. Earlier this season the ESC held two DH races at Powder Ridge and racers were thrilled and surprised at the quality of the trails the fantastic camping and the onsite nightlife featuring a great outdoor restaurant and fireside bar. This weekend there will be a farmers market and a live band !

The neutral pit area is the parking/camping lot and base, no assistance allowed elsewhere.

If you have not paid for your 2020 Maxxis ESC number plate, please note it is CASH only and no ATM machines are on site.

Attached are a couple documents for you to review, one is the map. We will NOT have printed maps for this event as the course is easy to follow, so if you want one please print it. The 2020 MAXXIS ESC Enduro rules are also attached, there have been some changes, so it would be best to read everything.

Racers must be present at the base area, where we will activate their chips and call them up to start their transfers in the following order:

Pro Men

Pro Women

U20

U15

21-29

30-39

40-49

50+

Female Amateur

CLIF Kids Class U12 – Stages 5-1-2-3 only and in that order

Clif Enduro Lite – Stages 5-1-2-3 only and in that order

Please drive slowly through neighborhood while visiting Powder Ridge, we do not want to upset the neighbors and please visit the local restaurants and let them know you are there because of the enduro race.

We will be onsite Friday afternoon but please understand we cannot do any registration until 4pm-6pm. We have a lot of course set up and we really want to ride our bikes too !

Back is the FOX Seatpost Climbers Challenge. We’ll award the fastest amateur a FOX Transfer Seatpost and the fastest in every class some cool FOX Socks. All Enduro Racers are automatically entered into the FOX TRANSFER Seatpost Climber’s Challenge competition with no extra fees. The FOX Transfer Seatpost Climber’s Challenge is a separate competition within the MAXXIS ESC Enduro Series. The seatpost will be awarded to the fastest AMATEUR on the climb, while the fastest in every class gets some cool Fox swag. One uphill transfer at each race will be timed. That one transfer will have independent timing boxes, so racers can rest before and after the timed climb. The timed transfer does not count in the overall race time. It is MANDATORY for all enduro racers to Time IN and Time Out Regardless if you are trying or just transferring to the next stage. For this race the timed climb will be the climb to stage 1

Also back this year is the FLAT TIRE DEFENDER Super Stage. This competition awards the fastest amateur male and amateur female one FLAT TIRE DEFENDER INSERT and the fastest in every class an FTD backpack with an FTD discount card inside, it will be contested on STAGE 1.
