• Racers must start with their class and at the assigned time. This will be enforced as we will present medals and awards right after the last racer in each class finishes.
• Official Class Results will be posted 5 minutes after the last racer finishes in each class.
• We will award medals and prizes at our tents 15 minutes after the Official Class Results have been posted.
• No Reruns unless the course is closed during your race run

- Important Notice for Pro Racers: The Pro Class field is locked at 1:00 pm Saturday. This means no new registrations or transfers into the Pro Classes will be accepted after this time.
- Racers may make one class change per season and no points will carry over to the new class when a racer upgrades or downgrades their class.
- MAXXIS ESC Racing Age is the racer’s age on December 31, 2026
- NO Racing License Required
- Racers must start with their class and at the assigned time. Join our team of course marshals! Help us ensure a safe and successful event for all participants.
Thunder Mountain and the Maxxis ESC are looking for course marshals for practice day (Oct 24th) and race day (Oct 25). In return for one day of volunteering, you will receive a bag lunch on your day of volunteering as well as a voucher for one of the following: (2) All Day lift Tickets for Thunder Mountain Bike Park, (2) All Day Ski Lift Tickets, (1) MT or VJ Zip Line Tour, or (1) Fife Brook Raft Trip.
No prior volunteering or biking experience necessary, we will gladly train you. You will access the race trail on foot after a chairlift to get to the top. We will escort you to your position down the trail. Some hiking down the trail may be necessary, if you have any mobility issues please make note of that below and we will be in contact with you asap to make arrangements. A majority of your day will be spent while positioned in the woods so please dress and plan accordingly.
Duties include: Monitoring a course section during race or practice, keeping spectators off race course, notifying competitors of oncoming bikers, notifying head marshal of any crashes, and cheering on competitors. Please know that the estimated end time is dependent on when the race ends. It is fun event and we are excited to help promote biking in Western Massachusetts.

PLEASE TAKE A PICTURE OF YOUR LIFT PASS, OTHERWISE IF YOU LOSE IT, YOU WILL NEED TO PURCHASE A REPLACEMENT FROM THUNDER MOUNTAIN
ONSITE REGISTRATION: Racers under 18 must have a parent/guardian present to complete their waiver to receive a lift ticket.
Online Registration closes on the Wednesday before the Event at 11:59pm RACE FEES – Include a Saturday Practice Lift Pass and a Sunday Race Lift Pass
- DISCOUNTED REGISTRATION – Online Early Bird Registration closes 2 weeks before the event -$10 Off Standard Pricing

SHUTTLING Shuttling will result in a disqualification unless allowed explicitly in our racer’s letter or racer’s meeting.
DH Racers MUST be at the start for their posted start time. Racers not at the start for their scheduled start time will be disqualified from the day’s competition if their Maxxis ESC Racers’ DH class results have been posted at the finish or registration area.
Racers MUST be present at the Series Final Award Ceremonies or at the Race Award Ceremony to Receive Awards and/or Cash Payouts! 
Please drive slowly through the neighborhood while visiting our venues, we do not want to upset the neighbors and please visit the local restaurants and let them know you are there because of the enduro race. We will be offering our 2026 Maxxis ESC Socks, Pint Glasses and T-Shirts at our registration tents, please remember its cash only INFORMATION:
- NUMBER PLATES– Will be sold at registration for $10 each. A 2026 MAXXIS ESC Number Plate must be affixed correctly to your bike always while on the tracks. You will not be allowed to ride without one. No cuts or trimming allowed on the plate, please.
- CASH ONLY– ATM onsite
- BUG SPRAY – You will want it and please don’t ask for ours…lol
- COLD – Temps expected in the 30’s overnights
- RAIN – Don’t even go there !!

Waivers
If you preregistered on this page, you have already filled out the Maxxis ESC waiver. Thunder Mountain Waivers will be available at registration or you can print one out and bring it with you. THUNDER MOUNTAIN WAIVER: All racers must sign a MAXXIS ESC and a Thunder Mountain waiver before practicing or registering at all events. Racers under 18 must have a parent sign their waiver or provide a notarized parental signature.

Breakfast information – The taqueria will open at 7am for coffee; breakfast will be ready at 730am. Breakfast sandwiches and breakfast burritos are available.
CAMPING – Thunder Mountain Parking Lot
NO CAMPING AT THE FAIRGROUNDS FOR THIS EVENT Thunder Mountain’s regular camping is sold out. For this event only, Thunder Mountain has secured a permit for ESC Racers to camp in their parking lot and overflow areas on Friday and Saturday Night. There is no preregistration for camping. - Give campers a tag to hang under their windshield to indicate they have paid.
- No electrical or RV hookups
- Showers are available in the West Lodge.
- Porta-johns available in the lot
- Firearms & Fireworks – All firearms and fireworks of any kind are strictly prohibited.
- Generators are allowed from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m.
- Contained fires in firepans elevated off the ground. Campers must pack out all ash and charred wood.
- Dishwashing – Washing dishes is prohibited in bathroom sinks and showers.
- Per our liquor license, consumption of outside alcohol is prohibited.
- Riding is not allowed on TMBP trails after park hours. The DRT trails are accessible at any time.
- Clean up your trash.
- Quiet Hours: Please be considerate of those around you and reduce noise after 8:00pm. Quiet hours are from 10:00 PM to 7:00 AM.
- Pets are permitted but must be kept on a leash no longer than 10′ at all times. Do not leave pets unattended in the campground, on the property, or in vehicles. Pets are not allowed in any buildings. We understand that your pet is a member of your family, but please be courteous to other campers and do not let your dog bark. Campers are responsible for cleaning up after their pets. If your pet is a disturbance, threat, or nuisance to others, we reserve the right to ask you to leave without a refund.
MAXXIS ESC Number Plates: Racers must display their 2026 MAXXIS ESC number plate while practicing or racing on the course. Only racers with a valid and registered 2026 MAXXIS ESC number plate are permitted on the course. These number plates can be purchased at each race for $10 and are valid for the entire season. Any modifications to the plate will result in disqualification, and the lettering and logos must remain completely intact, with no cuts allowed. If you have not paid for your 2025 Maxxis ESC number plate, please note it is CASH only and ATM machines are on site.
