featuring an Intense Downhill Race and a Stans Enduro Race at Jiminy Peak, MA

Jiminy Peak has a higher percentage of technical terrain than its fellow Western Massachusetts bike park, Thunder Mountain. There is no such thing as a machine-built flow or jump trail at this bike park. Every run has a narrow corridor, was hand-built, and tends to use the steepest route down the mountain. Jiminy will provide some great options for a day full of two-wheeled racing.

Jiminy Peak boasts a bike park with a greater concentration of technical terrain. Racers can expect an exhilarating experience on trails that are hand-built, without the presence of machine-built flow or jump trails. Every run at Jiminy Peak features a narrow corridor and follows the steepest route down the mountain, adding an extra element of challenge and excitement. For those seeking a weekend filled with thrilling two-wheeled racing, Jiminy Peak offers exceptional terrain.

During the event, the park will be exclusively open to registered participants of the Maxxis Eastern States Cup races from Friday to Sunday. Race registration includes Saturday and Sunday Lift Passes, ensuring riders can make the most of their weekend. Onsite Friday passes can be conveniently purchased from Jiminy Peak.

Important Notice for Pro Racers: The Pro Class field is locked at 1:00 pm Saturday. This means no new registrations or transfers into the Pro Classes will be accepted after this time.

Racers may make one class change per season and no points will carry over to the new class when a racer upgrades or downgrades their class.

Racers Must start with their class and at the assigned time. This will be enforced as we award medals and prizes right after the last racer in each class finishes.
• Final Class Results will be posted 5 minutes after the last racer finishes in each class. If a racer misses their class starting times, they will not get a finishing position or series points and will receive a DNS
• To allow for protests, we will award medals and prizes at our tents 15 minutes after the Class Results have been posted.
• No Reruns unless the course closes during your race run.

ONSITE REGISTERING Racers under 18 must have a parent sign their waiver or supply a notarized parental signed copy.

USE WAIVER AND RELEASE OF LIABILITY, ASSUMPTION OF RISK AND INDEMNITY AGREEMENT Event Name: Eastern States Cup LLC Mountain Bike Race Series Event Date(s): 5/1/2025 – 10/31/25 Event Organizer: Eastern States Cup LLC IN CONSIDERATION of USENDURANCE allowing me to participate in the US Endurance event described above (the “Event”) I, for myself, and on behalf of my spouse, children, parents, guardians, heirs and next of kin, and any legal and personal representatives, executors, administrators, successors and assigns, hereby agree to and make the following contractual representations pursuant to this Waiver and Release of Liability, Assumption of Risk and Indemnity Agreement (the “Agreement”); 1. I hereby represent that (i) I am in good health and in proper physical condition to participate in the Event; and (ii) I am not under the influence of alcohol or any illicit or prescription drugs which would in any way impair my ability to safely participate in the Event. I agree that it is my sole responsibility to determine whether I am sufficiently fit and healthy enough to participate in the Event. 2. I understand and acknowledge the physical and mental rigors associated with this adventure racing Event, and realize that many elements of this Event are inherently dangerous and represent an extreme test of a person’s physical and mental limits. I understand that participation involves risks and dangers which include, without limitation, the potential for serious bodily injury, permanent disability, paralysis and death; loss or damage to property; exposure to extreme conditions and circumstances; contact or collision with other participants, spectators, vehicles or other natural or manmade objects; dangers arising from adverse weather conditions; imperfect course conditions; water, road and surface hazards; equipment failure; inadequate safety measures; participants of varying skill levels; situations beyond the immediate control of the Event Organizers; and other undefined, not readily foreseeable and presently unknown risks and dangers (“Risks”). I understand that these Risks may be caused in whole or in part by my own actions or inactions, the actions or inactions of others participating in the Event, or the negligence of the Released Parties defined below, and I hereby expressly assume all such Risks and responsibility for any damages, liabilities, losses or expenses which I incur as a result of my participation in the Event. 3. I agree to be familiar with and abide by the Rules and Regulations established for the Event, including but not limited to rules and regulations related to Competition and Safety. I also accept sole responsibility for my own conduct and actions while participating in the Event, and the condition and adequacy of my equipment. 4. I hereby Release, Waive and Covenant Not to Sue, and further agree to Indemnify, Defend and Hold Harmless the following parties: US Endurance, the Event Organizers and Promoters, Race Directors, Sponsors, Advertisers, Host Cities, Local Organizing Committees, Venues and Property Owners upon which the Event takes place, Law Enforcement Agencies and other Public Entities providing support for the Event, and each of their respective parent, subsidiary and affiliated companies, officers, directors, partners, shareholders, members, agents, employees and volunteers (Individually and Collectively, the “Released Parties” or “Event Organizers”), with respect to any liability, claim(s), demand(s), cause(s) of action, damage(s), loss or expense (including court costs and reasonable attorney’s fees) of any kind or nature (“Liability”) which may arise out of, result from, or relate to my participation in the Event, including claims for Liability caused in whole or in part by the negligence of the Released Parties. I further agree that if, despite this Agreement, I, or anyone on my behalf, makes a claim for Liability against any of the Released Parties, I will indemnify, defend and hold harmless each of the Released Parties from any such Liabilities which any may be incurred as the result of such claim. 5. I hereby pre-authorize the Event Organizers and their representatives to arrange for emergency medical treatment and/or transport via ambulance or air on my behalf if medical attention is warranted during my participation in the Event. I understand and agree that I will be responsible for the costs associated with any such emergency medical care and/or transport arranged on my behalf, and hereby release the Event Organizers from any Liability relating to the cost and provision of any rescue operations, first aid treatment, medical care, hospital expenses or the medical decisions made at the Event site or elsewhere on my behalf. I hereby warrant that I have read this Agreement carefully, understand its terms and conditions, acknowledge that I will be giving up substantial legal rights by signing it (including the rights of the minor, my spouse, children, parents, guardians, heirs and next of kin, and any legal and personal representatives, executors, administrators, successors and assigns), and intend for my signature to serve as confirmation of my complete and unconditional acceptance of the terms, conditions and provisions of this Agreement. This Agreement represents the complete understanding between the parties regarding these issues and no oral representations, statements or inducements have been made apart from this Agreement. If any provision of this Agreement is held to be unlawful, void, or for any reason unenforceable, then that provision shall be deemed severable from this Agreement and shall not affect the validity and enforceability of any remaining provisions. All racers must sign a MAXXIS ESC and a venue waiver before practicing or registering at all events. Racers under 18 must have a parent sign their waiver or supply a notarized parental signed copy.

MAXXIS ESC Number Plates:
Racers must display their 2025 MAXXIS ESC number plate while practicing or racing on the course. Only racers with a valid and registered 2025 MAXXIS ESC number plate are permitted on the course.

Number plates can be purchased at each race for $10 and are valid for the entire season.

Any modifications to the plate will result in disqualification. The lettering and logos must remain completely intact, and no cuts are allowed.

CAMPING: – $20 for Saturday night – Overnight Parking Allowed in the Lower Lots – no facilities – patrolled by security – No fires allowed!

PARKING: Lower Lots only and ABSOLUTELY NO PARKING BEHIND THE CONDOS OR NEAR THE ESC Registration Tents.

INFORMATION:

NO SHUTTLING– That goes for all weekend for everyone. If you are seen/reported/caught/whatever shuttling you will be assessed a time penalty. Trust us you will not be on the podium if you try, so don’t.

BUG SPRAY – You will want it and please don’t ask for ours…lol

COLD – Temps expected in the 30’s overnights

RAIN – Don’t even go there !!

Racers MUST be present at the Race Award Ceremony to Receive Awards and/or Cash Payouts!

SWOWDOWN:

The “Thule Showdown” weekends will feature both Enduro and DH races on the same day at the largest resorts on our schedule. The ESC will present high-end prizing for the top racers that race both Enduro and Downhill during the weekend.

RACERS MUST FILL OUT THE THULE SHOWDOWN SHEET AT THE ENDURO TIMING DESK BEFORE THE START OF THE FIRST RACE OF THE EVENT TO BE CONSIDERED FOR THULE SHOWDOWN SERIES POINTS AND PRIZES

No SHOWDOWN race or series points will be counted if a racer only finishes one or less discipline at an event.

If a racer changes classes from their original online entry, no points will be awarded for the series or the individual Thule Showdown.

The 8U Brat Class, 12U Kate’s Kids and 14U Youth Class racers can only participate in one discipline at Showdowns.

DOWNHILL:

DOWNHILL: DH Racers MUST be at the start for their posted start time. Racers not at the start for their scheduled start time will be disqualified from the day’s competition if their Maxxis ESC Racer’s DH class results have been posted at the finish or registration area.

DOWNHILL: ESC SPEED ZONE
The fastest DH racers in every class in the ESC SPEED ZONE are awarded some ESC Speed Zone swag

DOWNHILL: Seeding is Saturday at 3pm for Expert, Pro and Masters only

TIMING CHIPS WILL BE TURNED ON BY CLASS JUST BEFORE THE START SUNDAY MORNING – (Racers who fail to do so will not have their times registered)

Any age may race in the Pro Open Class.
Any age may race in a younger class except for 19-29 racers.
Women can race in women’s classes or age groups.
Only one bike may be used per event.
