MAXXIS ESC INTENSE DH SERIES STANDINGS REVIEW: Jiminy Peak Finals Showdown

With just the Finals left at Jiminy Peak, the 2025 Maxxis ESC Intense DownHill Series is poised for a dramatic conclusion. The championship in each class is determined by the best 7 out of 9 race results, meaning the Finals, which carry a bonus points factor of 125%, could drastically reshape the final standings. Our analysis below assumes all mentioned racers complete their Finals run.
Championship Deciders and Close Battles:

PRO MEN – Conte Seeks Fourth Consecutive Title in a Nailbiter
Dylan Conte is chasing his 4th consecutive Maxxis ESC Pro Championship, holding a 132 point lead over a tied second place of Ty Davis and Parker Downing. The twist is Nick Frasier, currently 4th, has only 6 races counted so far, meaning he will gain full points in the finals, while the top three will drop their lowest score. This is a must-watch class where the final run could decide the champion.

PRO WOMEN – Podium Spots Up for Grabs
Maryjane Kissinger and Michell Guy have locked up the top two series slots with a finish at Jiminy Peak. The heat is on for the third step of the podium, with Kale Cushman, Emma Jarl, and Sarah Hamlin all separated by just a few points.

EXPERT WOMEN – Siverling’s Full Points a Game Changer
Allison Wirtz leads Scarlett Plante by 68 points. The series championship hangs in the balance because Karlynne Siverling, in third, has only six events, and will gain full points in the Finals, making her a serious threat to the top two.

EXPERT 16U – A 16-Point Separation at the Top
Mason Sharrow holds a slim 16-point lead over Robert Coletta for the Expert 16U title. Trailing are Will Spain and Cooper Mead, who are themselves separated by only 4 points and battling for the third spot.

EXPERT 18U – Top Two Separated by 32 Points
Ryan Dorr and Grady Payson lead the class, separated by just 32 points. Meanwhile, Parker Snyder and Timothy Faucette are in the hunt for the final podium position in the series.

EXPERT 19-29 – Fierce Tie for Third
Garyson Morin and Hunter Bernier will secure 1st and 2nd with a Finals finish. The real competition is for third place, currently a tie between Banegas Abner and Marco Vasquez, with Owen Tharp within striking distance.

EXPERT 30-39 – Cornejo’s Dominant Run
Mario Cornejo has been dominant with 4 wins and 6 podiums in 6 races, meaning he will gain full points in the Finals. Mason Colf has secured at least second place. Andrew Gilbert can lock up the third position with a finish.

EXPERT 40+ – Runner-Up Battle
Chad Sharrow has mathematically locked up the championship even without a start. Eric McNeil and Bobby Filion will compete head-to-head for the runner-up spot.

BRAT CLASS 8U – Chase Ulmer and Hudson Nagy are locked into the top two spots. Keegan Wheeler and Ryan Billow will battle for the third step of the series podium.

KIDS 12U – Levi Kochin leads Aiden Scott by 32 points. If Levi finishes ahead of Aiden, he wins. Aiden needs to beat Levi by several positions to secure the series championship. Bryan Filion has a top-three podium spot secured.

YOUTH 14U – Joey Pimental and Beau Clark will finish 1st and 2nd as long as they finish the race. The battle for third is extremely tight with Chasen Jones, Henry Wilkas, and James Frizzell all within 12 points, and Grayden O’Hearn still in striking distance.

AMATEUR 16U – Brady Miller is poised to be the champion with a strong finish. Britt Kinnaman leads Austin Hitt by 34 points for second, but the large class size means the standings are vulnerable to a shake-up.
AMATEUR 18U – Anthony Porter leads William Shine by 36 points. Porter clinches the title by finishing ahead of Shine; otherwise, Shine will need help. Max Poulsson, Adam Sarney, and Cody Guyott will be racing for a podium spot.
AMATEUR 19-29 – Julian Mangino and Nicholas Rubino are separated by just one point, setting up an intense race for the championship. Alex Sarango’s run in the Finals will be his 7th event, ensuring he gains full points and could edge out Jarred Ensley and Eli Hickey.
AMATEUR 30-39 – Josh Lemoine is on track for the championship with a finish. Jose Lozano has only 6 races so far and will be looking to move up as high as second against Jorge Pinella and Shaun LaPlante, who have both completed 7 events.
AMATEUR 40+ – Ben Kinnaman and Robert Frizzell are set for 1st and 2nd. The battle for third involves Jason O’Hearn, John Vogt, and Justin Payson, all within 19 points of each other.
AMATEUR WOMEN – The top 3 positions are locked up with a finish: Maple Kunz, Scarlet Munoz, and Georgia Pimentel.
MASTERS 50+ – Scott Wilkas and Mike Garbacik are separated by only three points in a race for the championship. Marcos Lira, currently in 5th place and with only six races, could be propelled to the championship with a strong finish, depending on the results of Scott and Mike. Scott Dixon, Sean Tarricone and Michael Tiffe are also battling within a few points.
