Ross Scatchard – Coach

In college he formed a cycling club where one didn’t exist and enjoyed competing in the collegiate circuit. My dad introduced me to mountain biking a few years ago and I fell in love with the feeling of gliding over rocks and “flying” through the air. I really like being in the woods on my bike and exploring different trails. I started xc racing in 2018 and have since competed in xc, enduro, pump track, and some downhill. My favorite style of racing is enduro because I can ride the uphills with my friends and pause to collect cool looking rocks and twigs. In the winter, I ski race. When I’m not riding my bike and or skiing, I really love drawing dragons.

Kai Waldman

She also raced xc and enduro last season in the Vermont Youth Cycling series. When not riding her bike Kai enjoys skiing the woods and competing with the Smugglers Notch Ski Club Freeski team.

I really like being out in the woods. I always like the trails and having adventures with my brother. The dirt, the speeds, and the phat sends are my passion. I have been ski racing since I was six and I also love freeskiing with friends.   Building trails is a lot of fun in my free time. My grandfather who is 80 was a champion in competitive wood chopping and crosscut sawing. He is teaching me how to chop and saw now. I also like cooking.
