The Eastern States Cup East Coast Showdown returns to Sugarbush for 2017, featuring enduro and downhill mountain bike races with a combined cash purse of $3,200.
It’s not just about cash purses with the Eastern States Cup, there will be loads of product prizes. Amateur enduro race winners receive custom ESC seats provided by Selle Italia. Fly Racing is sponsoring the Fly Racing Speed Zone, with great Fly Racing gear for the fastest amateur men and women. Finally,KMC chains and Pro Gold lubricants is providing podium prizes five racers deep in every ESC race class.
New this year is the Clif Kids Class for boys and girls under 14 years, sponsored by Clif Bar. Clif Bar will be handing out prizes for these new categories.
Sugarbush is a stop for the Box Components East Coast Showdown. BOX Components and the ESC will present high-end prizes for the top three men and women that race both enduro and downhill during each showdown weekend.
** A USA Cycling license is required for Saturday and Sunday Downhill Racing. You can purchase a $10 day license through online registration or when you arrive.
